Mladá Boleslav, 8 January 2025 – Škoda Auto is advancing its electrification strategy with the introduction of the new Enyaq family, one of Europe’s most successful all‑electric model series. Notably, both the Škoda Enyaq and the Škoda Enyaq Coupé now feature the brand’s new Modern Solid design language, reinforcing their visual appeal. The updated Enyaq boasts optimised aerodynamics, along with more sustainable materials and extensive standard equipment. Additionally, the new Enyaq family introduces enhanced digital capabilities and more advanced assistance systems.

Klaus Zellmer, CEO of Škoda Auto, says: “Since their launch in 2020, the Enyaq and Enyaq Coupé have made e-mobility a reality for over 250,000 customers, along with their families and friends. Now the new Enyaq series brings fresh options and improvements to the table, including an even more stylish design. I’m grateful to our customers for making the Enyaq one of Europe’s most popular fully electric vehicles. We want to excite the market further by building on our existing Enyaq strengths such as the generous amount of space, efficient drivetrains and excellent value proposition. Our new Modern Solid design language, more comprehensive standard equipment, and new digital features combine to make the Enyaq models even better everyday companions.”

Martin Jahn, Škoda Board Member for Sales and Marketing, adds: “The new Enyaq marks the next step in our e-campaign. Following its predecessor’s strong performance, surpassing overall BEV market growth in Europe in 2024, this second generation of our best-selling Enyaq series is set to build on that success. The new Enyaq charges from 10 to 80 per cent in just 28 minutes or less and features a completely new design as well as an enhanced user experience. Innovations such as Remote Park Assist and the improved functionality of the MyŠkoda app will make everyday life even more convenient for our customers.”

The next chapter of the Enyaq’s success story
The new Enyaq now comes with even more extensive equipment as standard, including heated front seats & steering wheel, tri-zone climate control, keyless entry with walk away function, predictive adaptive cruise control, blind spot detection, wireless charging with cooling function, rear USB-ports and an electric boot with kick activation (Virtual pedal). Remote Park Assist and Remote Trained Parking are new optional digital features. The new Enyaq offers two battery sizes and three powertrain options: the Enyaq 60 and Enyaq 85 each have one electric motor and rear-wheel drive, while the Enyaq 85x comes with an additional motor at the front and all-wheel drive.

For the interior, customers can choose between six distinct Design Selections. The new sustainable Lodge Design Selection, inspired by the Modern Solid design language, uses eco‑friendly materials and orange details that include the seat belts, whilst the new Lounge Design Selection is predominantly grey and combines artificial leather and microsuede with contrasting mint green stitching. There is also a Suite Cognac Design Selection with elegant cognac-coloured seats covered in leather that has been tanned using olive leaf extract.

Exterior: The new Škoda Enyaq adopts Modern Solid design language

The new Enyaq showcases the brand’s Modern Solid design language, featuring a glossy black illuminated Tech-Deck Face and new Škoda bonnet lettering in Unique Dark Chrome

Excellent aerodynamics with a drag coefficient of 0.245 for the new Enyaq and 0.229 for the new Enyaq Coupé

Wide range of wheels spanning 19 to 21 inches, plus exclusive new Olive Green colour

Mladá Boleslav, 8 January 2025 – The new Škoda Enyaq stands out with its distinctive shape and clean lines. Featuring a glossy black Tech-Deck Face, a striking illumination, Škoda lettering on the bonnet in Unique Dark Chrome, and the exclusive Olive Green colour, it embodies the brand’s Modern Solid design language. The new Enyaq also offers a wide range of alloy wheels, from 19 to 21 inches, and boasts excellent aerodynamics, with drag coefficients of 0.245 for the Enyaq and 0.229 for the Enyaq Coupé.

Tech-Deck Face and LED Matrix beam headlights with new four-eye look
The new Enyaq family embraces the Modern Solid design language, combining robustness, functionality and authenticity while reinterpreting familiar Škoda lines. Defining the Enyaq’s front, the sleek, glossy black Tech-Deck Face conceals sensors such as the radar system and front camera. Škoda lettering has replaced the logo on the bonnet. Like the lettering at the rear, it is finished in Unique Dark Chrome, which is also used for the inserts on the front and rear aprons. Another new feature is the illuminated Tech-Deck with fine, vertical eyelashes illuminated by LEDs. Positioned above the Tech-Deck Face, it visually links the upper light units of the LED Matrix beam headlights. Two striking LED units in the lower modules provide a new, horizontal interpretation of the four-eyed night-time face that has become a hallmark of Škoda SUVs. 36 light segments in the double-row matrix module offer exceptional masking capability for oncoming vehicles.

Even the basic headlights use LEDs for all lighting functions, while the LED Matrix beam headlights add a Coming Home/Leaving Home animation integrating the illuminated Tech-Deck. The rear lights conform to the classic C-shape and come in two versions, both using LED technology throughout. The top version adds animated indicators and integrates the tail lights into the Coming Home/Leaving Home animation, offering a choice of two animations for the LED rear lights with animated indicators.

Wide range of wheels and a new exclusive colour
The powerful appearance of the Škoda Enyaq and Škoda Enyaq Coupé is underlined by large, aerodynamically optimised alloy wheels available in sizes ranging from 19 to 21 inches. Notably, the line-up now includes a range of newly designed and exclusive alloy wheels and a newly introduced exclusive Olive Green metallic paint finish. The colour options extend to two solid paint finishes and seven metallics.

Improved aerodynamics
Several features and adaptions of the new Enyaq contribute to further improving its already outstanding aerodynamics, such as the new front with its Modern Solid design marked by a slimmer Tech-Deck Face with an optimised transition to the bonnet, optimised air curtains, a reduced gap between radiator and front bumper and new aerodynamically optimised wheels. The new Škoda Enyaq is now able to achieve a drag coefficient as low as 0.245, versus 0.264 for the previous model. The new Enyaq Coupé achieves an even lower drag coefficient starting at 0.229, compared to the previous 0.240, making it the most aerodynamic model in Škoda’s current portfolio.

The new Enyaq and Enyaq Coupé: two body styles, proven performance
The new Enyaq family comprises SUV and SUV coupé variants, both sharing the MEB platform and a 2,766 mm wheelbase. The front is equipped with ventilated disc brakes and single-piston callipers for the Enyaq 60 and twin-piston callipers for the Enyaq 85 and Enyaq 85x, while the rear axle features drum brakes, ideal for electric vehicles that rely primarily on regenerative braking. Excellent handling is ensured by a MacPherson front suspension with lower triangular arms and a transverse torsion stabiliser, paired with a multi‑link suspension with five transverse arms and torsion stabiliser at the rear. Driving comfort can be further enhanced with DCC (dynamic chassis control) adaptive dampers, as well as progressive steering with a variable steering ratio.

UK range and equipment: three highly-specified trim levels
In the UK customers will be able to choose from three familiar trim grades; SE L, Edition and SportLine, all of which enjoy generous standard specifications. The entry point to the new Enyaq range is the SE L model, which is available exclusively with the SUV body style and a 63kWh (59kWh net) battery. Among the many highlights are the 19” Proteus silver alloy wheels, LED headlights and rear lights as well as keyless entry with walk away locking function. A 13” infotainment screen with satellite navigation and electric boot with Virtual pedal add to the standard specification. Driver assistance systems include Predictive Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Assist Plus and Blind Spot Detection.

The Edition trim is available as both an SUV and coupé with a choice of two batteries; 60 (SUV) and 85 (SUV and coupé); a 63kWh (59kWh net) pack and a larger 82kWh (77kWh net) battery size. Edition models build on the specification of the SE L and add 19-inch Regulus anthracite alloy wheels, full LED Matrix headlights and unique dark chrome roof rails and window trim.

SportLine variant with distinctive black detailing
The SportLine variant of the new Enyaq enhances its sporty aesthetic with extensive black detailing. This variant features a high-gloss black finish on the front spoiler, side window trim, and the roof rails of the SUV version, as well as wing mirror caps in metallic black. Both the front and rear lettering are also finished in black, whilst the SportLine badge now sits proudly on the tailgate. The vehicle sports 20-inch Vega alloy wheels in metallic black as standard, with the option to upgrade to 21-inch Supernova wheels in the same finish. In the UK , the SportLine trim will be available exclusively with an all-wheel drive powertrain along with the illuminated Tech-Deck, head-up display, area view camera, progressive dynamic steering and sports suspension.

The new Enyaq also supports rapid charging at DC fast-charging stations, achieving a charge from 10 to 80 per cent in just 28 minutes or less, thanks to a maximum charging rate of up to 175 kW.

Johannes Neft, Škoda Auto Board Member for Technical Development, adds: “I am pleased that we have further refined the distinctive character of our iconic all-electric SUV, the Enyaq. The new Tech-Deck Face, which has been introduced to this model, marks Škoda’s continued progress towards an increasingly electric future. Customers can choose from three different powertrains and two battery sizes. Improvements to the Enyaq’s aerodynamics further enhance its already excellent efficiency, enabling a range of up to 365 miles (587kilometres) on the WLTP cycle, making it an ideal choice for long-distance travel.”

Two battery sizes and three powertrain variants
The Enyaq 60’s lithium-ion battery comprises nine modules, each with 24 battery cells, giving it a total gross capacity of 63 kWh. It is combined with a 204 PS (150 kW) synchronous electric motor with permanent magnets on the rear axle, which delivers a maximum torque of 310 Nm to the rear wheels. The top speed is 99 mph (160 km/h). The Enyaq 85 variant also has an electric motor and rear-wheel drive but comes with a larger lithium-ion battery consisting of twelve modules, with a gross capacity of 82 kWh.
Mladá Boleslav, 8 January 2025 – The new Enyaq provides ample interior space for passengers, complemented by a generous luggage capacity. Its interiors are characterised by timeless designs, intuitive controls, and enhanced standard equipment. The redesigned steering wheel now features Škoda lettering in place of the brand logo. A 5-inch Digital Cockpit comes as standard, with an optional head-up display featuring augmented reality available. The Design Selections prioritise sustainability, using innovative, durable, and practical materials. Additionally, the new Enyaq introduces several Simply Clever details to the series, including a QR code in the boot.

Spacious interior and even more generous standard equipment
The interior of the new Škoda Enyaq excels with its timeless design, outstanding ergonomics and intuitive controls. It offers plenty of space for passengers as well as generous luggage capacity – 585 to 1,710 litres in the Enyaq and 570 to 1,610 litres in the Enyaq Coupé. A 5‑inch Digital Cockpit and central 13-inch infotainment display are standard.

The redesigned steering wheel is now heated as standard and features Škoda lettering. Standard equipment now also includes keyless entry with open‑on‑approach and walk‑away locking as well as heated front seats, tri-zone climate control and tow bar preparation for all models.

In addition, there are four option packages: Advanced, Maxx, Transport and Winter. These are complemented by a number of standalone options such as the panoramic sunroof, tow bar, and the heat pump.

Six Design Selections and sustainable materials
In the interior, the new Škoda Enyaq offers six different Design Selections. Reflecting the new Modern Solid design language, the entry Loft Design Selection features a combination of grey fabric and black artificial leather, and the Lodge Design Selection has a fresh, colourful appeal, with contrasting stitching and special seat belts in eye-catching orange.

The Lodge Design Selection showcases sustainable innovation with seat upholstery made from TechnoFil containing a 75% share of ECONYL® yarns, which are obtained from sources such as discarded fishing nets, fabric scraps from factories and old carpets. The remaining 25% is made up of polyester. The new Lounge Design Selection’s predominantly dark grey upholstery features seat covers made of a combination of artificial leather and microsuede with new mint green contrasting stitching. In the Suite Black Design Selection, the seat covers consist of a black leather/artificial leather mix with brown stitching. In the Suite Cognac Design Selection, the cognac-coloured leather is tanned using an eco‑friendly process that utilises olive leaf extracts. This enables the efficient use of leaf matter considered a waste material in other processing industries. The SportLine Design Selection features black sports seats with integrated headrests, microsuede/artificial leather upholstery and grey contrasting stitching.

Simply Clever features for everyday convenience
The new Škoda Enyaq introduces several new Simply Clever details to the series. Among them is the Enyaq debut of the QR code in the boot. Other notable Simply Clever features include a sustainable ice scraper with a tyre tread depth gauge integrated into the boot door panel, a sustainable umbrella in the driver’s door compartment, and mobile phone pockets on the backs of the front seats. The boot also offers two bag hooks and a retractable boot cover, which can be operated with a single touch. Other convenience-enhancing innovations include the Heaters function, which automatically turns on up to four heating features, and fast-charging front and rear USB-C ports with up to 45 W of power.

Mladá Boleslav, 8 January 2025 – The new Škoda Enyaq delivers state-of-the-art connectivity. The redesigned MyŠkoda app introduces several enhancements to make life with the Enyaq more convenient, including new functions for electric vehicles such as Predictive Maintenance. Powerpass is now fully integrated into the app. Additional digital features, accessible via the MyŠkoda app on a smartphone, simplify parking and vehicle access, while updates to the infotainment system further enhance the user experience. Moreover, the list of standard assistance systems has been expanded to include Blind Spot Detection and Crew Protect Assist.

Enhanced MyŠkoda app with a host of new functions
The latest version of the MyŠkoda app introduces several enhancements designed to make life with a Škoda car even more convenient and enjoyable. Powerpass is now seamlessly integrated into the app, providing access to over 800,000 charging points across Europe.

The Enyaq’s Škoda Connect services now include Lock & Unlock, enabling users to remotely secure or access their vehicle via the app. Another new feature, Predictive Maintenance, uses driving data and the Vehicle Health Report to identify potential issues before they occur. This service monitors the traction battery, 12 V battery, brake pad wear, and air conditioning system.

Additionally, the integration of Plug & Charge into Powerpass simplifies charging at public stations by eliminating the need for external authorisation tools such as RFID cards or separate apps.

New digital features simplify parking and vehicle access
The optional Park Assist introduces two new functions. Remote Park Assist allows the Enyaq to automatically enter parallel and perpendicular parking spaces while the owner controls it via the MyŠkoda app on their smartphone. Using Bluetooth, the system works with the owner standing near the vehicle while holding the key. After selecting the manoeuvre type, the Enyaq autonomously handles steering, braking, and movement.

Trained Parking enables the car to ‘learn’ approaches of up to 50 meters to five specific parking locations. Once a saved space is recognised, the Enyaq can drive itself there automatically using the Remote Trained Parking. This is controlled via the MyŠkoda app.

Keyless entry, standard for the Enyaq, offers added convenience with its Open-On-Approach function, which unlocks the doors and tailgate when the key holder comes within 1.5 metres of the car. Walk-Away Locking automatically locks the vehicle when the key moves beyond 2.5 metres.

Updates to the infotainment system further improve the user experience. A new Heaters button deactivates all heating functions with a single tap, while updates to the Vehicle and Apps menus move key settings into the Apps menu. The top bar now includes quick-access favourites for features like battery pre-heating, Speed Assist, and Heaters. Additionally, users are now logged in automatically, eliminating the need for manual authentication on the welcome screen.

Additional standard assistance systems
Blind Spot Detection incl. Rear Traffic Alert and Exit Warning, Predictive Adaptive Cruise Control (pACC), which also uses Traffic Sign Recognition, and Traffic Jam Assist add to the extensive list of standard assistance systems. Also on board in every Enyaq is Front Assist including Predictive Cyclist Protection, Predictive Pedestrian Protection, Collision Avoidance Assist and Turn Assist. Lane Assist Plus, Attention and Drowsiness Assist and Crew Protect Assist are also always included as standard. The standard Travel Assist feature has been enhanced by the use of swarm data collected from Volkswagen Group vehicles. The Enyaq continuously downloads detailed maps of its surroundings, created by vehicles that have previously driven through the area. This data, protected by two-phase anonymisation, increases the system’s effectiveness and adaptability in various driving situations. Travel Assist also includes Adaptive Cruise Control, operational at all speeds, along with Traffic Jam Assist and Emergency Assist

Mladá Boleslav, 16 June 2025 – Škoda Auto is launching the vRS range-topper six months after the world premiere of the all-new Škoda Elroq, which competes in the popular electric compact SUV segment. The latest member of the vRS family has two motors generating a total system output of 340 PS (250 kW) and is equipped with all-wheel drive. The Škoda Elroq vRS comes with an electric range of 339 miles on the WLTP cycle, specific vRS accessories and comprehensive standard equipment. It is also the fastest accelerating car in Škoda’s current model portfolio, sprinting from 0 to 62 mph in 5.4 seconds.

Klaus Zellmer, CEO of Škoda Auto, says: “The Elroq vRS is the next important step in Škoda’s expanding electric future. Merging our esteemed vRS legacy with innovative technology makes this a new top-of-the-line model that achieves 0 to 62 mph in just 5.4 seconds. The Elroq vRS delivers this thrilling performance alongside a range of 339 miles. Our first all-electric compact SUV is taking the market by storm in its first few months. In April, it was Europe’s no. 1 bestselling pure BEV and has so far totalled about 70,000 orders through the end of May. These figures confirm the Elroq’s status as a compelling choice. We are confident that the Elroq vRS will contribute to this success story and set new standards by offering a great blend of driving enjoyment and everyday usability.”

Johannes Neft, Škoda Auto Board Member for Technical Development, says: “Škoda vRS models traditionally combine dynamic performance and sporty looks with well‑balanced driving characteristics and practicality. The Elroq vRS is no exception: the newest member of our vRS family comes with an output of 250 kW and a range of 339 miles while the standard DCC blends sportiness and comfort to perfection. In terms of design, the Škoda Elroq vRS introduces the new Modern Solid design language to our vRS portfolio. Its high-gloss Tech-Deck Face fits in perfectly with the black accents that are a hallmark of our most dynamic models. This appealing package makes the Elroq vRS the ideal everyday companion.”

Media launch in the north of the Czech Republic
The media launch takes place at the Aurel Polygon test centre in the north of the Czech Republic – a 30-minute drive from Mladá Boleslav, where the Elroq is manufactured. The Polygon is a development and innovation centre for the extensive testing of technologies, vehicles and their components. A wide range of functional, durability and other tests are carried out here. The 52,000 m2 proving ground includes test tracks for advanced assistance, brake and stability systems. A gravel road is available to test the durability of the bodywork and other vehicle parts, and a special zone is used to test vehicles beyond their operational limits. Cars can also be tested on surfaces such as cobblestones and washboard surfaces.

84 kWh battery, electric range of over 340 miles, fast charging at up to 185 kW
In the Škoda Elroq vRS, the electric motors – on the front axle and on the rear axle – develop a total output of 340 PS (250 kW) and support all-wheel drive. Just like the Enyaq vRS, the Elroq vRS accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 5.4 seconds, making these two vehicles Škoda’s fastest accelerating production models to date, with a top speed of 111 mph. The high-voltage battery comprises twelve modules, giving it a total gross capacity of 84 kWh (79 kWh net), enabling a maximum electric range of 339 miles on the WLTP cycle. Charging rates of up to 185 kW at DC fast-charging stations enable the battery to recharge from 10 to 80 per cent in around 26 minutes. AC charging at 11 kW takes the battery from 0 to 100 per cent in around eight and a half hours. The Elroq vRS achieves a drag coefficient as low as 0.267.

Sports chassis and LED Matrix beam headlights as standard, exclusive alloy wheels
Black exterior details and exclusive alloy wheels up to 21 inches in size underline the car’s dynamic appearance. The sports chassis and progressive steering make for excellent driving dynamics in any situation. The extensive standard equipment includes cutting-edge LED Matrix beam headlights and LED rear lights with dynamic indicators. An electrically adjustable driver’s seat with massage function also comes as standard. It is available for the front passenger as part of the optional Maxx Package.

Modern Solid design language with illuminated Tech-Deck Face
Like all Elroq models, the vRS variant is characterised by the new high-gloss black Tech-Deck Face accommodating multiple sensors, including radar. The illuminated Tech-Deck Face composed of vertical “eyelashes” comes as standard, as do the LED Matrix beam headlights. Their four-eye look is a hallmark of the Škoda SUV range. LED rear lights with dynamic indicators are also included as standard. As part of the Coming/Leaving Home animation, also standard, the illuminated Tech-Deck Face creates a light show when the driver locks or unlocks the car or just approaches it with the key in their pocket. The illuminated segments gradually light up when the vehicle is unlocked and slowly fade when it is locked.

Hallmark vRS style: black accents and new unique matt colour
The characteristic visual vRS features underline the dynamic appearance of the exterior design. The side window trim, roof rails, bonnet and tailgate lettering and the wing mirror caps are all finished in gloss black. The front bumper is trim-specific and the rear bumper features the typical vRS full-width reflector strip. The front wings are adorned with vRS badges. The car can be ordered in ten exterior colours, four of them solid, six metallic and coming soon will be a new exclusive matt grey finish, available only for the Elroq vRS. The limited-edition matt grey exterior is combined with gloss black details such as the door handles, side mirrors and rear roof spoiler. The black metallic 20-inch Draconis alloy wheels with new matt black inserts are standard, while the new 21-inch Vision alloy wheels in anthracite metallic are available as an option. The privacy glass tinted rear and rear side windows and acoustic side windows ensure comfort in any driving situation as well as a sleek look.

Specific Design Selection for the interior
In the interior, the exclusive Design Selection vRS Lounge features black surfaces. It combines perforated and non-perforated microsuede upholstery with artificial leather, a carbon-look décor and lime green contrast stitching. The design part of the dashboard is covered with black microsuede, which can also be found on the door panels. The three-spoke heated sports steering wheel bears a vRS badge and is covered in perforated leather. Stainless-steel pedal covers and heated front sports seats with integrated head restraints complement the dynamic appeal in the interior. The driver’s seat is electrically adjustable and offers massage and memory functions as well as lumbar support as standard. The optional Maxx package adds this electric seat adjustment together with the massage and memory functions to the front passenger seat. The 3-zone Climatronic air conditioning is part of this equipment package as well. The ambient lighting illuminates the front and rear door panels, front and rear footwells, the door handles, the centre console, and the dashboard. Mechanical sunshades for the rear side windows and rear side airbags are also standard on the Elroq vRS.

13-inch infotainment display and Augmented Reality head-up display
The 5-inch Digital Cockpit and the 13-inch infotainment display come as standard, alongside head‑up display with Augmented Reality. All include vRS-specific graphics. The heaters button on the infotainment screen activates or deactivates up to four heating functions at once. The Škoda Elroq vRS comes with four fast-charging USB-C ports with an output of up to 45 W as standard. In addition, mobile phone wireless charging and ventilation offers up to 15 W of charging power while area view camera provides peace of mind while parking. The 12-speaker sound system, developed with CANTON delivers a total output of 675 W. The standard electrically operated tailgate with Virtual Pedal provides easy and convenient access to the 470- to 1,580-litre luggage compartment. One of the brand-specific Simply Clever features of the Škoda Elroq vRS is the QR code in the boot. It can be used to easily access operating instructions and videos about various boot functions on a smartphone or tablet. Two external sounds for pedestrian protection, Sport and Futuristic, can be selected via the infotainment menu. Tow bar preparation is included as standard, and an electric release towbar is available as an option. The Škoda Elroq vRS can tow braked trailers weighing up to 1,200 kg on a 12% gradient.

DCC suspension with specific tuning and stiffer antiroll bars as standard
The new progressive steering set-up has been adjusted to match the specific tuning of the vRS chassis, resulting in a sportier driving feel. Driving Mode Select also offers a special traction mode in conjunction with all-wheel drive. The DCC adaptive chassis is available as standard as well; its settings are tailored to the more compact body dimensions of the Elroq vRS. The vRS version allows a wide range of shock absorber settings, with up to 15 parameters that can be adjusted to configure an Individual mode. Each DCC shock absorber has a sophisticated electromagnetic valve that opens and closes in milliseconds, reducing or increasing the oil flow in the shock absorber depending on the current driving situation and selected driving mode. The shock absorber parameters are therefore driven by input signals such as vehicle speed, car body acceleration, body roll and pitch, overall vehicle load, throttle position, steering wheel angle and many more. The system comprises three accelerometers, three-wheel uplift sensors and a control unit, which also receives data and signals from other vehicle units such as the engine unit, ESC and steering gear. The best possible handling in any driving situation is ensured by a MacPherson front axle with lower triangular arms and a transverse torsion stabiliser, paired with a multi-link suspension with five transverse arms and a torsion stabiliser at the rear. The specific adjustments of the DCC dampers allow for a wide range of damper settings in up to 15 individual parameters. The combination of sports tyres and steering characteristics adapted to the special adjustments of the vRS chassis gives the car a more dynamic steering feel with better feedback for optimal vehicle control.

The latest version of Travel Assist and Keyless entry as standard
Comprehensive connectivity features in the Škoda Elroq vRS enable numerous intelligent safety and assistance systems. The latest version of Travel Assist, which comes as standard, combines Adaptive Lane Assist, Predictive Adaptive Cruise Control, Traffic Jam Assist, Emergency Assist and Blind Spot Detection. It features the use of online swarm data as standard. Keyless entry is also included as standard. With its Open-On-Approach function the system unlocks the doors and tailgate when the key holder comes within 1.5 metres of the car. Walk-Away Locking automatically locks the Elroq vRS when the key is moved more than 2.5 metres away from the car. The navigation system provides real-time online alerts on accidents, breakdowns and slippery road conditions in the immediate vicinity.

Clever parking via smartphone, plus Powerpass support
The upgraded MyŠkoda app supports new functions for the optional Intelligent Park Assist. Remote Park Assist allows the vehicle to automatically enter parallel and perpendicular parking spaces while the owner controls the manoeuvre via the MyŠkoda app on their smartphone. The Bluetooth-based system requires the owner to stand next to the vehicle while holding the key. After selecting the desired type of manoeuvre, the Elroq vRS autonomously handles steering, braking and movement. The Remote Trained Parking feature is also controlled via the MyŠkoda app. When the vehicle reaches one of up to five previously stored approaches to parking locations, it can drive itself to the desired position automatically. Meanwhile the owner, rather than sitting in the vehicle, will start and monitor the process on their smartphone.

With Powerpass public charging tariffs, customers will easily be able to charge their battery at one of nearly 900,000 charging points across the EU (excluding Portugal and Romania). Powerpass will soon benefit from a new tariff structure. This will bring greater convenience for drivers mainly using the IONITY network, and in most cases will reduce charging costs. Powerpass is a universal service enabling customers to use charging points without the need to have a specific charging point operator card or mobile app, or having to deal with authorisation issues etc.

The new tariff plan mix combines the best of both worlds: flexible rates for occasional users who seek value for money and fixed rates for regular users who prefer the convenience of more predictable pricing. Instead of three public charging plans, four will soon be available. The basic charging plan will continue to be free, but will already come with flexible prices everywhere, rather than a fixed price. This may result in lower costs for customers, depending on the location, the charging station operator, the time of day or the current status of the electricity network. Two middle plans are specific to IONITY users looking to minimise their costs, providing access to the IONITY network at the best fixed rate per kWh (as offered by IONITY itself), while other stations remain under a flexible rate scheme. With Charge Premium customers will still find the familiar fixed rates, now with generally cheaper kWh prices; here too the cost is the same as the best tariff available from IONITY directly.

Prices and more information will soon be available for specific markets on the Škoda Auto website. The Plug & Charge option, enabling seamless authorisation at compatible charging stations, makes DC charging at rates of up to 185 kW convenient at all times.

The vRS story – successful on rally tracks and in circuit racing worldwide
The Elroq vRS continues Škoda’s 25-year tradition of sporty vRS models, which began in 2000 with the first-generation Octavia vRS. In 2003, the vRS portfolio expanded with the Fabia vRS, followed by a second-generation model including an estate variant. In 2018, the Kodiaq vRS was Škoda’s first vRS model in the SUV segment. In 2022, Škoda presented the fully electric Enyaq vRS family. Both models feature dual-motor all-wheel drive and initially delivered 220 kW. The power output increased to 250 kW in 2023, which made them the most powerful production cars in Škoda’s history at the time. Last month, Škoda presented the new Enyaq vRS family, now also featuring the Modern Solid design language, including the distinctive Tech-Deck Face.

Škoda’s “vRS” designation has been in use for more than 50 years, thrilling and exciting fans of Škoda’s performance models. However, the company’s motorsport history began much earlier – 124 years ago in fact, and on two wheels.

In June 1901, the Czech manufacturer made its motorsport debut in the Paris–Berlin race, which covered a distance of 1,196 km. The first major success with a Škoda racing car was celebrated in January 1936, when the Škoda Popular came second in the legendary Monte Carlo Rally in the class up to 1,500 cc. In international rallies, Škoda took off with the Octavia Touring Sport – TS for short, which achieved three successive class victories at the “Monte” in 1961, 1962 and 1963.

The 1970s rang in the RS era at Škoda Motorsport. 1974 was marked by the development of the 180 RS and 200 RS rally prototypes. The following year saw the arrival of the legendary Škoda 130 RS, with successes including a double victory in its class at the 1977 Monte Carlo Rally. In 1981, Škoda and the 130 RS were crowned European champions in the brand classification of the European Touring Car Championship. The Škoda Favorit rang up four consecutive “Monte” triumphs in its class between 1991 and 1994. After the Škoda Octavia WRC around the turn of the millennium, various rally versions of the Škoda Fabia added to the success story. The Fabia R5, the Fabia R5 evo and the current Fabia RS Rally2 have won a total of 16 world championships for drivers and teams in the WRC2 category since 2015 and garnered five victories in Monte Carlo.

Mladá Boleslav, 11 June 2025 – Next week, 28 students from the Škoda Auto Secondary Vocational School of Engineering will unveil the tenth Škoda Student Car, named the Škoda L&K 130. The designation of this one-off vehicle reflects Škoda Auto’s 130-year heritage, as does its striking colour scheme. The combination of red, gold and black pays tribute to the original Laurin & Klement logo used on the company’s earliest cars in 1905.

A tribute to the legacy of Václav Laurin and Václav Klement
Škoda Auto’s 130th anniversary has been woven into every detail of the new Student Car. Scheduled for unveiling in mid-June, the Škoda L&K 130 references the Czech automaker’s rich heritage, which began with founders Václav Laurin and Václav Klement in 1895.

Colour scheme inspired by the historic 1905 L&K logo
The Laurin & Klement legacy extends beyond the vehicle’s name. Selected from numerous student-submitted designs, the colour scheme echoes the original 1905 company logo. Its elegant combination of gold, deep red and black complements the modern contours of the student-designed vehicle as effectively as it did the classic grille of the Voiturette A – the very first car to bear the Laurin & Klement name. Inside, this historical theme continues, with the seats, dashboard, door panels and steering wheel upholstered in sustainable materials inspired by Škoda’s heritage.

All ten Škoda Student Cars on display
This year’s Škoda Student Car marks the tenth remarkable one-off creation by students at the Škoda Auto Secondary Vocational School of Engineering in Mladá Boleslav. To celebrate this milestone, all nine previous Student Cars, from the 2014 Citijet to the 2023 Roadiaq, will be exhibited alongside the new L&K 130 at its official unveiling next week.

Five Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 crews finish inside the WRC2 top 10

Olbia (ITA), 9 June 2025 – The final leg of Rally Italia Sardegna saw a dramatic shift in the WRC2 category. With the top three in the category running into trouble almost simultaneously, the Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 crew of Roberto Daprà and co-driver Luca Guglielmetti seized their opportunity. The Italian pairing secured its first WRC2 victory with a lead of just 5.8 seconds.

Emil Lindholm, the WRC2 champion from 2022, and co-driver Reeta Hämäläinen dominated the category from the start. The Finnish Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 went into the WRC2 lead already after the first stage. With four fastest WRC2 times across Friday’s six stages, the Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 crew reached the evening service with a lead of 16.3 seconds. After the opening leg, Czech pairing Martin Prokop/Michal Ernst followed in third position with Prokop’s own Škoda Fabia RS Rally2. Finnish duo Lauri Joona/Samu Vaaleri was next with MS Munaretto’s car. Eventual WRC2 winners Roberto Daprà/Luca Guglielmetti held P8 at that point.

On Saturday, Emil Lindholm and Reeta Hämäläinen gradually extended their lead. Even a malfunctioning intercom system couldn’t slow the pair down – they simply switched to the backup system mid-stage. “Reeta has a strong voice, but not strong enough for the in-car noise on a gravel stage,” Emil Lindholm joked. In the evening, the WRC2 leaderboard listed Lindholm/Hämäläinen on top, more than one minute ahead of Lauri Joona/Samu Vaaleri. Yohan Rossel/Arnaud Dunand were out of the running for the WRC2 victory by that point due to a technical issue. Meanwhile, Martin Prokop and Michal Ernst lost time after damaging the radiator of their Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 and dropped to fourth position. Roberto Daprà and co-driver Luca Guglielmetti followed one spot down.

Lindholm/Hämäläinen were apparently on course for their first Rally2 victory in over a year when disaster struck in stage 14. After a crest, their Toksport WRT Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 overshot a corner and got beached in the bushes. Although their car sustained only minor damage, it was game over for them.
Another Finnish Škoda pairing inherited the WRC2 top spot. With only two stages to go, Lauri Joona and co-driver Samu Vaaleri led Kajetan Kajetanowicz/Maciej Szczepaniak by a little more than ten seconds. But that was not the end of the story. One stage later, both these crews collected punctures. The shock new leaders were Roberto Daprà/Luca Guglielmetti, separated by less than five seconds from Kajetanowicz/Szczepaniak and Martin Prokop/Michal Ernst.

On the final power stage, the Delta Rally Team Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 spun, however, Roberto Daprà posted an even faster time than his two pursuers: “I am really proud of myself and for all of my team that we won our first rally here – it’s amazing,” the 24-year-old ACI Italia supported youngster beamed. “When things go well and you have good people around you, if the result needs to come it will come itself. That’s what happened here.”

Martin Prokop and Michal Ernst completed the WRC2 podium as third. Lauri Joona and co driver Samu Vaaleri eventually came home sixth in the category. Also inside the WRC2 top 10 finished Škoda crews Robert Virves/Jakko Viilo from Estonia in P7 and Italians Giovanni Trentin/Pietro Elia Ometto in P9.

WRC2 winners Roberto Daprà/Luca Guglielmetti took first position in the WRC2 Challenger classification as well. Victory in the WRC Masters Cup also went to a Škoda crew: The biggest trophies were handed to Mexican Miguel Granados und Spanish co-driver Marc Martí.

After the rough gravel stages of Sardinia, another country with notoriously car-braking roads is waiting for the WRC2 crews. Next round of the FIA World Rally Championship is Acropolis Rally Greece, which takes place from 26th to 29th June 2025.

Number of the rally: 6
Škoda crew Emil Lindholm/Reeta Hämäläinen posted more fastest stage times than any other WRC2 competitor. The Finns won six of the rally’s 16 stages.

Milton Keynes, 29 May 2025 – Škoda is expanding its new Enyaq range with the addition of a SportLine derivative that will sit alongside the recently introduced 85x (4WD) model. Available in SUV and Coupé body styles, the new SportLine 85 shares its sporty looks and sharp driving dynamics with the all-wheel-drive 85x. But, thanks to its single-motor drivetrain, it delivers even greater efficiency and longer driving ranges.

Available to order from 12 June 2025, with prices starting at £47,260 OTR (Coupé from £49,160 OTR), both new Enyaq SportLine 85 models feature 82 kWh (77 kWh net) battery packs and are powered by a rear-mounted motor that generates 286 PS and 545 Nm of torque. This allows the new models to sprint from 0–62 mph in 6.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 111 mph.

In terms of efficiency, the SportLine 85 SUV returns up to 354 miles on the WLTP combined cycle, while the more aero-efficient Coupé offers up to 356 miles – both figures higher than those delivered by the all-wheel-drive 85x version.

Rapid DC charging can be carried out at speeds of up to 135kW, while AC charging peaks at 11kW. When conditions allow, a 10–80% charge on a suitable rapid DC charger can be achieved in around 28 minutes.

Like the SportLine 85x, the single-motor SportLine 85 comes with a generous specification that enhances its sporting nature. Both SUV and Coupé models feature 20-inch Vega black alloy wheels, sports bumpers, and gloss black styling details as standard. Inside, SportLine drivers benefit from a head-up display (HUD), front sports seats, sports steering wheel, and a CANTON sound system.

To ensure the SportLine 85 models drive as well as they look, both variants are equipped with progressive dynamic steering and sports suspension that lowers the ride height by 15mm at the front and 10mm at the rear. Both models also feature a variable boot floor and Area View camera as standard.

Mladá Boleslav, 15 May 2025 – For the next two seasons, Škoda Auto will serve as an Official Partner to the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships and the UCI Gravel World Championships, both organised by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI). These two high-profile events feature a variety of formats for both men and women. Mountain bike has a long-standing tradition, a large fan base, and Olympic status, while gravel – raced on mixed surfaces including gravel roads – has surged in popularity in recent years. Tens of thousands of spectators attend the events in person, with more than 25 million people tuning in via broadcast across the two events. This year’s UCI Mountain Bike World Championships will take place in Valais, Switzerland, in late August and early September. The UCI Gravel World Championships are scheduled for October 2025 in the South Limburg region of the Netherlands. At the UCI Championship venues, Škoda will offer dedicated areas for visitors and fans, showcasing a selection of electrified models including all-electric vehicles (BEV) and plug-in hybrids (PHEV).

Martin Jahn, Škoda Auto Board Member for Sales and Marketing, explains: “At Škoda Auto, cycling has been part of our DNA ever since our founders Václav Laurin and Václav Klement established the company 130 years ago. In total, 27 UCI World Champion titles will be awarded.

UCI Gravel World Championships in the Netherlands
Gravel – a discipline centered around bikes specifically designed for mixed surfaces like gravel roads, dirt trails, and pavement– has grown rapidly in popularity in recent years. The renewed interest in these lightweight, fast bikes has drawn in both amateur and professional riders, leading to the creation of a dedicated UCI World Championships. This year’s race will take place in the South Limburg region of the Netherlands.

Milton Keynes, 9 May 2025 – Škoda has confirmed its reputation as a leader in the fleet market by driving off with three key titles at the annual Great British Fleet Awards. Not only was the Czech brand named overall Fleet Manufacturer of the Year, it also secured additional victories for two of its newest models – the Kodiaq and Superb.

The annual Great British Fleet Awards recognise brands and vehicles that deliver exceptional value and quality, both for fleet operators and drivers. Over recent years, Škoda has enjoyed a growing share of the fleet market, thanks to its broad range of models, acclaimed value for money, and low running costs.

Having already won a string of Great British Fleet Awards in previous years, Škoda went one better in 2025 by scooping the prestigious Manufacturer of the Year title for the first time. The judging panel praised the brand’s comprehensive range and attention to detail. Commenting on Škoda’s win, the panel said: “Škoda, quite rightly, receives a lot of praise for its growing portfolio of electric vehicles, but it also deserves recognition for a strong overall line-up.”

The judges also highlighted Škoda’s ongoing commitment to offering unbeatable value for money, adding: “The range offers something for everyone, with costs that are competitive and specifications that are hugely impressive. The brand’s ‘Simply Clever’ additions just add to the overall appeal and value.”

In addition to winning the overall Manufacturer of the Year title, Škoda also secured two coveted class wins. The new Kodiaq was named Best Fleet Large SUV, while the new Superb was crowned Best Fleet Executive Car of the Year.

Explaining why the Kodiaq took top honours, the judging panel said: “The first-generation Kodiaq was a huge hit with drivers, and the replacement model has carried on the good work. Highlights include a fun-to-drive element, a wide range of powertrain options, and quality materials throughout. Strong RVs add to the appeal of the Czech SUV.”

The panel was equally impressed by the Superb, noting: “Want limousine-type characteristics for a fraction of the cost? There really is just one option. The Superb once again lives up to its name and does so much so well – including offering a choice of hatchback and estate versions, with efficient petrol, hybrid and diesel engines to suit different driver needs.”

The latest awards further cement Škoda’s status as a leader in the fleet sector. Thanks to a raft of new models and updates, the brand boasts one of the newest ranges in the industry – while the recent arrival of the all-electric Elroq SUV is set to further enhance Škoda’s appeal with fleet buyers.

Škoda marks European Diversity Month with the unveiling of the Elroq Respectline – a special edition concept embodying the brand’s core values of respect, diversity, inclusion, equality, and fairness, which are central to its corporate culture.

The design prominently features the “háček” symbol from the Škoda name – a nod to the brand’s Czech heritage and its 130-year legacy.

The vibrant electric car will make its public debut later this week with simultaneous presentations in Mladá Boleslav and Hamburg, followed by a series of events throughout the year

Škoda Auto reinforces its commitment to equality, diversity, and human rights through its Next Level Škoda strategy and long-term Diversity Strategy 2030.

Mladá Boleslav, 6 May 2025 – Škoda Auto proudly presents the Elroq Respectline, a unique concept car featuring a distinctive exterior and interior design developed to reflect the company’s core values of mutual respect, diversity, and inclusion. Making its debut during European Diversity Month, the Elroq Respectline also serves as a bold statement in support of human rights and the fair, equitable treatment of all individuals.

At the heart of the design is a stylised “háček” – the diacritical mark in the Czech letter “Š” – paying homage to Škoda’s Czech roots and honouring the brand’s 130-year heritage. The concept was co-created by Škoda Auto employees from across the organisation. The Elroq Respectline will make its first public appearance on 9 May at the Best Cars 2025 awards in Hamburg, followed by a showcase at Škoda’s in-house music festival in Mladá Boleslav on 10 May.

Škoda Elroq Respectline: Celebrating Diversity and Honouring Heritage
The Škoda Elroq Respectline stands as a vibrant tribute to diversity and the company’s rich Czech heritage. Its striking exterior features a bold, colourful design, with the stylised “háček” – inspired by the diacritical mark in the Czech letter “Š” – serving as a central visual motif. Playfully integrated throughout the car’s exterior and interior, this emblem pays homage to Škoda’s origins and proudly reflects a legacy that began in 1895.

A key highlight of the front design is the Tech-Deck Face grille, enhanced with animated LED rainbow lighting. Widely recognised as a symbol of the LGBT+ community, the rainbow serves as a broader reminder of societal diversity and the value of every individual. The expressive rainbow theme, together with the vivid and imaginative interior, showcases how diverse identities and perspectives can unite to create positive energy and mutual respect.

Inside, the Elroq Respectline continues its message of individuality and inclusivity. Using recycled materials from the Elroq model, combined with progressive rainbow embroidery on the seats, distinctive embossing details, and colorful décor elements.

Public premieres this week, followed by Prague Pride and Tour de France later this year
The new Elroq Respectline follows on from the Enyaq Respectline, which has been showcased at numerous events to highlight Škoda’s core values of mutual respect, diversity, and inclusion. The Elroq Respectline will make its public debut at two key events this week: first on Friday, 9 May, at the Best Cars 2025 awards presented by auto motor und sport magazine in Hamburg, Germany, followed by its appearance at Škoda’s internal music festival in Mladá Boleslav on 10 May.

Throughout the summer, the Elroq Respectline will continue to spread its message at a variety of prominent cultural and public events. These include the Metronome Prague music festival, Prague Pride, the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra’s Open Air concert, and stages of the Tour de France—reinforcing Škoda’s belief in the power of diversity to inspire and unite communities across Europe.

Škoda Auto’s engagement during European Diversity Month
For the fifth consecutive year, Škoda Auto is participating European Diversity Month. In addition to unveiling the Elroq Respectline, the company is hosting a series of internal initiatives throughout May, including lectures, workshops, and awareness-raising activities for employees.

Škoda Auto’s commitment to diversity and inclusion is firmly embedded in its Next Level Škoda Strategy and further articulated in its Diversity Strategy 2030.
Maren Gräf, Škoda Auto Board Member for People & Culture, says: “Diversity, equity, inclusion, and mutual understanding are cornerstones of Škoda’s corporate culture. With the new Elroq Respectline, we are introducing a Škoda brand ambassador that embodies these values. Our goal at Škoda Auto is to be a role model in caring for our employees and fostering a safe, open, and fair workplace for all.

Mladá Boleslav, 2 May 2025 – Škoda Auto built on last year’s momentum to achieve a robust Q1: With 238,600 vehicles delivered to customers worldwide, the Czech car manufacturer recorded an increase of 8.2% year-on-year in the first three months of 2025. Electric models with a plug, including all-electric vehicles (BEV) and plug-in hybrids (PHEV), combined accounted for a record share of 15% of total deliveries with 36,900 vehicles. The solid sales and financial results once again demonstrated Škoda Auto’s financial stability and resilience despite current dynamic market conditions. Škoda Auto generated revenue of €7.259 billion (+10.4%), operating profit rose to €546 million (+2.1%), the return on sales stood at 7.5% (8.1% in Q1 2024), and net cash flow climbed to €527 million, up 15.3% year-on-year. This performance was driven by strong cost discipline and the broad, modern model line-up. The company also continues to benefit from synergies within the Volkswagen Group and the Brand Group Core. In India, Škoda Auto recorded a sharp rise in deliveries following the launch of the new Kylaq SUV, reaching 15,000 units (+89.3% year-on-year).

Klaus Zellmer, CEO of Škoda Auto, commented: “Škoda Auto extended the momentum of our best-ever financial year in 2024 into the first quarter, achieving further profitable growth including double-digit gains in revenue and net cash flow. Global deliveries were up 8.2% from a year earlier, outperforming the industry average despite market volatility in Europe and internationally. We are able to efficiently sustain profitability even under the cloud of potential European CO₂ levies. This success validates our customer-first approach in this era of transition to increased electrification. The new, fully electric Elroq compact SUV led our expanding e-mobility drive with stronger-than-expected orders of more than 45,000 through the end of March. Its SUV cousin, the new Enyaq, was again one of the most popular BEVs in Europe with deliveries up by nearly 45% from a year earlier. I am grateful to our customers for their positive response to our products and to all Škodians for developing, building and selling our most diverse and modern lineup ever. We also took important steps in further expanding our international footprint outside Europe, launching the all-new compact SUV Kylaq in India and opening a production plant in Vietnam. Overall, our performance so far this year shows that we remain positioned to be among the most successful and profitable volume car brands.”

Holger Peters, Škoda Auto Board Member for Finance, IT and Legal Affairs, said: “Our financial results for the first quarter reflect a very solid start to the year. While these figures include costs related to CO₂ regulation in Europe, they demonstrate our commitment to rigorous cost optimisation. In addition, we are benefiting from our well-balanced model portfolio, AI projects, and existing synergies within the Brand Group Core. Overall, we remain fully dedicated to driving transformation across the automotive industry – here in our Czech home market, across Europe, and beyond. We are working diligently to secure a sound basis for future investments to further strengthen our company.”

Martin Jahn, Škoda Auto Board Member for Sales and Marketing, added: “Škoda’s performance in the first quarter of 2025 brought an impressive 5.2% year-on-year increase in Europe – once again outperforming the overall market. A number of countries contributed to this success – such as the UK, France, Spain, Italy, Germany or the Czech Republic. But also markets further afield, like Türkiye and Israel contributed to our overall strong overall sales performance. In India we even managed to increase our deliveries to customers by almost 90% compared to 2024 thanks to our new model Kylaq. In Europe we confirmed our strong position as the fourth best-selling brand while we more than doubled our deliveries of electric vehicles: We reached 36,900 units including both battery-electric and plug-in hybrid models. This impressively shows: Our model strategy is proving effective on the international markets. We are continuing to sharpen our customer focus – not just through our product line-up, but also in our sales and service experience, where our Human Touch concept, centred on a personal, people-first approach, is playing an increasingly important role.”

Outstanding delivery results in Europe
Škoda Auto started 2025 in full force, delivering 238,600 vehicles to customers worldwide between January and March – an increase of 8.2% compared with the same period last year. Among the best-performing markets were Germany (46,500 vehicles; +6.7%), the United Kingdom (22,600; +23.0%), the Czech Republic (22,000; +8.6%), India (15,000; +89.3%) and Israel (8,200; +35.8%). France and Sweden also contributed to the increase in deliveries with very strong performances in the first quarter.

In Western Europe, deliveries rose by 6.7% to 136,300 vehicles. This growth further reinforced the brand’s position as the fourth best-selling car manufacturer on the European market. With delivery growth of 5.2% in Europe, we have managed once again to outperform the overall market, which decreased by 0.3%.

In India, Škoda saw a significant increase in sales following the launch of the new Kylaq SUV. In total, 15,000 vehicles delivered in the Indian market represent almost a doubling of deliveries compared to the previous year.

Elroq drives growth in electric vehicle deliveries
The share of electric vehicles (EVs), encompassing both BEVs and PHEVs, is growing rapidly. Combined, all electrified models with a plug accounted for 15% of deliveries compared to 8% in Q1 2024. This includes the all-electric Elroq and Enyaq as well as the improved plug-in hybrid variants of Kodiaq and Superb. In the first three months of 2025, deliveries of PHEV vehicles to customers have tripled in comparison to the first quarter of 2024, reaching 9,900 units. One of the main drivers is the successful all-new Elroq: Between October last year and the end of March, the compact SUV received more than 45,000 orders. The high demand is expected to rise further with the introduction of the recently unveiled range-topping Elroq RS . The model has been particularly well received in Germany, the United Kingdom, France, the Netherlands and Belgium. Deliveries are already underway. With the arrival of the Elroq, Škoda Auto has doubled its electric vehicle sales ambitions for this year.

New Enyaq: one of Europe’s most in-demand electric vehicles continues its success story
The Enyaq ranked among the top three best-selling electric vehicles in Europe last year and continued its strong performance into the first quarter of 2025. With 20,200 units delivered (+44.7% year-on-year), it remains one of the most sought-after electric models in key markets such as Germany, Czech Republic and Switzerland.

The new Enyaq family, unveiled in January, has further boosted sales momentum with around 25,000 new orders placed by the end of March. The first deliveries to customers are scheduled for the second quarter, starting with Germany, the United Kingdom and Denmark.

Demand for Škoda vehicles with internal combustion engines also remains strong, supported by the most up-to-date and comprehensive model portfolio in the company’s history. The Octavia remains the brand’s best-selling model, with 49,400 units delivered. In addition, the larger Kodiaq SUV also attracted more fleet customers with 32,300 units delivered in total (+32.2%). The Kamiq and the Fabia were also met with high demand.

Advancing the internationalisation strategy: new plant in Vietnam and entering the Omani market
At the end of March 2025, Škoda Auto and its local partner and investor, Thanh Cong Group, opened a new assembly plant in Vietnam for the Slavia and Kushaq models. This significant milestone in the brand’s internationalisation strategy underlines Škoda Auto’s ambition to strengthen its presence beyond its home European market. Škoda is leveraging synergies with nearby India, from where it imports completely knocked-down (CKD) kits for the assembly of the Kushaq SUV.

Moreover, the car manufacturer has entered the Omani market, marking another step forward in its strategic expansion in the Middle East.
