Cyber security specialists Digital Craftsmen and Armor are marking their partnership with a webinar featuring FBI veteran Miguel Clarke, a former Special Agent in the cyber security division and now global evangelist for cyber security.
The webinar, hosted by Ascensor, titled‘Into the Mind of the FBI – Give Yourself the Advantage’ is scheduled for 12.00 to 13.00 on April 26th 2023). Registrations can be made at https://bit.ly/DC_FBI_MINDSET_ARMOR
Miguel, who led a US Cyber Task Force, will explain cyber security is a problem that will not be solved by security software alone. As 90% of successful ransomware attacks start with human error, educating business owners and employees is key, and this is where Miguel’s expertise and experience is so valuable.
He will show attendees the value of adopting the FBI security mindset. This is a framework that involves understanding where threats are coming in from, how to recognise when they are happening, and having the calm, confident mindset to react and respond to them, without fear or panic, places you in the space where the threat can be neutralised.
It’s this approach of not focusing on fear, uncertainty and doubt and instead adopting a positive approach which is really the game changer for everyone.
Commenting on the alliance, Simon Wilcox of Digital Craftsmen says: “We are thrilled to be working with Armor. We share a similar outlook on cyber security and the combination of our skillsets, mindsets and toolsets provide the best defence for our clients.”
Ian Taylor, Regional MD, EMEA, Armor Cybersecurity adds: “It’s great to be collaborating with Digital Craftsmen. Armor is introducing a radically different approach to tackling the threats of cyber-attacks, an approach which aligns to our mission: Liberation – from the constraints of conventional cybersecurity.” He adds: “Miguel will share his personal and professional insights, and show how by applying FBI principles we can all strengthen cyber security resilience on a human level.”
